Training for scything teachers

When we started organizing scything courses and selling scythes in 2010, we could not have imagined how popular the scythe would become in a few years' time! So in 2020 we designed an in-depth training course to share and pass on the fruit of our knowledge to other passionate people who also want to promote the use of the scythe and help others learn to use it effectively. The demand is growing exponentially; there is work to be done!

This personalized training course takes some time and its duration is different for each trainee because future teachers must acquire a high level of skill in mowing, peening and honing, as well as good teaching techniques to effectively transmit these skills and correct common mistakes. The training takes place in several steps: regular practice with personalized monitoring and advice, theoretical training, advanced practical training, peening sessions, observation and co-teaching of courses, documentation and useful resources. Continued training is also included.
