This axe is good for splitting short logs. It can be used for felling too and is powerful, but I find it less comfortable and less easy for this task than the 302, 303 and 307 models. The handle fits like a pickaxe handle in the conical eye, so it is easy to replace if you want a longer or shorter handle for example.
