This course is taught in French, but I speak English.
Learn or improve your peening and honing skills, as well as how to make minor edge repairs.
Hammers and anvils, as well as all other equipment needed for the initial exercises, are provided, but it is essential to bring your own blade as this is what you will be peening during the course.
It is also strongly recommended that you bring the rest of your scything equipment so that you can benefit from personalized advice (maintenance, adjustments, etc.).
You will be able to try out the different approaches to peening:
wide-faced hammer with narrow-faced anvil
narrow-faced hammer with wide-faced anvil
anvil with blade guide
peening jig
It is possible to purchase material on site.
Fee: 35€/person
In order to guarantee the quality of teaching, this course is limited to 8 people.
